Our courses

We offer First Steps Personal Safety, Ridge Line Skills Block and Summit Season as described on our Courses page, with pricing shown in Canadian dollars.

Eligibility

Courses are open to students aged 16 and up. Summit Season requires an initial placement session before enrolment.

Bookings and payment

A course place is confirmed once payment is received in full, by card or e-transfer. See the Payment & Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy sections below for what happens if your plans change.

Course materials, the Halvorn name and the content of this site remain the property of BAYSIDE MMA INC..

Acceptable use and conduct

Students are expected to follow instructor direction during class, respect other participants and inform instructors of any relevant physical condition before a session.

Accuracy and availability. We make reasonable efforts to keep course details and prices current, but schedules and availability may change; final details are confirmed when you book.

Outcomes. Physical activity carries an inherent possibility of strain or minor injury, and individual outcomes from any course depend on personal effort and circumstance; we make no promises about results.

Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by Ontario law, BAYSIDE MMA INC. is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or participation in a course, beyond amounts actually paid for that course.

Payment & Refund Policy

Scope. This policy covers course fees paid through Halvorn.

Eligibility. A full refund is available if you cancel at least seven days before your course start date. Cancellations made less than seven days before the start date are handled under our Cancellation Policy below.

How to request. Email [email protected] or call +1 705-229-1090 with your name and course.

Processing. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Non-refundable cases. Fees are not refundable once a course has started, except where required by Ontario consumer protection law. Full details are on our Refunds & Cancellation page.

Cancellation Policy

How to cancel. Contact us by email or phone during our working hours, Monday – Saturday, 15:00–21:00.

Cancellation windows. Cancelling seven or more days before your start date qualifies for a full refund; cancelling within seven days qualifies for a rebooking credit rather than a refund.

Rescheduling. We will move you to the next available group of the same course at no charge where space allows, as an alternative to cancelling.

Cancellations by us. If we cancel a session for capacity or circumstances beyond our control, you may choose a full refund or a place in the next available group.
