Refunds & Cancellation

Scope of this policy

This page sets out how refunds and cancellations work for course fees paid to BAYSIDE MMA INC., trading as Halvorn, and supplements the summary in our Terms & Conditions.

Your right to cancel

You may cancel a booked course at any time before it starts by contacting us at [email protected] or +1 705-229-1090. Cancellations made seven or more days before your course start date receive a full refund to the original payment method.

Cancelling close to the start date

If you cancel fewer than seven days before your course starts, the fee is held as a credit toward a future course rather than refunded, reflecting the short notice for us to fill the place. We will apply that credit for up to twelve months.

Cancelling after a course has started

Once a multi-week course has begun, remaining sessions are not refunded for a voluntary withdrawal, except where Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 requires otherwise — for example where a course was booked through an agreement that did not meet the Act's disclosure requirements, or where the course itself does not take place as described.

Processing refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the card or account used for the original payment within 5–10 business days of approval. We do not process refunds to a different account than the one used to pay.

If we cancel or change a course

If BAYSIDE MMA INC. cancels a course outright — for example due to low enrolment or an unavailable venue — you will be offered a full refund or a place in the next available group of the same course, your choice.

How to request a refund or cancellation

Email us with your name, the course booked and your preferred outcome (refund or credit). We aim to confirm receipt within one business day during our working hours, Monday – Saturday, 15:00–21:00, Eastern Time (ET) — Wasaga Beach.

Your consumer rights

Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) or other applicable Canadian consumer protection law. Where this policy and that law conflict, the law takes precedence.

We may update this page from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision.
